The increasing demand for real-time data transparency, operational agility, and secure data management has made blockchain technology and its decentralized ledger a promising solution for industrial applications. Blockchain’s immutable structure enhances data integrity, security, and transparency, addressing critical challenges in supply chain management and industrial dynamics. This study explores blockchain’s role in advancing real-time operational efficiency and transparency across various industrial sectors.
Using a mixed-methods approach, data was collected through surveys and interviews with industry professionals in manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain management. Findings reveal that blockchain integration improves data processing speeds, traceability, and security, enabling faster and more accurate decision-making. However, barriers such as high implementation costs and technical complexities remain significant obstacles to widespread adoption.
These insights emphasize the need for strategic investment, regulatory support, and industry collaboration to unlock blockchain’s full potential in enhancing operational agility and revolutionizing industrial operations.
