Abstract

The adoption of Digital Twin Technology (DTT) is transforming industries by enhancing efficiency and sustainability. This study examines its impact on operational performance and environmental outcomes. Using a mixed-methods approach, data was collected through surveys and interviews with professionals in manufacturing, energy, and logistics. Findings reveal that DTT minimizes downtime, reduces maintenance costs, and optimizes resource usage, leading to improved productivity. Additionally, it supports sustainability by lowering energy consumption and waste, reducing carbon footprints. However, challenges such as high implementation costs and a shortage of skilled professionals hinder widespread adoption. Addressing these barriers through strategic investments and supportive policies is crucial for maximizing DTT’s potential in driving sustainable industrial growth.
